EMMA GERAGHTY

I'm a writer and theatremaker based in Manchester working with ideas of body, queerness, and home.

I have a solo show called Fat Girl Singing. It's an autobiographical show about being fat and writing music. It's a really good night out, featuring some banging tunes and a pair of excellent dungarees. I've also made Keep the Lights On, an exploration of queer bodies in the kink community.

Right now I'm writing Lagan a play about female anger, class, and a beached whale. 

​

I've been supported by Arts Council England, and have worked with/been supported by Word of Warning, The Dukes Lancaster, Contact, the Stephen Joseph Theatre, and the Royal Exchange, among others.
